For the past seventeen years, over 250 events involving new music, jazz, world music, interactive electronics, improvisation and interdisciplinary art forms that incorporate sound have been featured in the EMIT series.  EMIT (a registered nonprofit arts organization) brings adventurous music and educational activities to the Tampa Bay are.

EMIT is a recipient of programming awards from from Chamber Music America, ASCAP and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.  It is supported by the City of St. Petersburg. and the Pinellas Community Foundation.

It's a Mad Party with the best of the Rat Pack from singer Bryan Hughes and the Helios Jazz Orchestra, directed by David Manson. Dress up, knock back a few cocktails and dance to an 18-piece jazz big band.

Join the Mad Party on Tuesday, May 21 at the swanky NOVA 535 event center. With dancing, catered treats, a full bar and free valet parking in the amazing NOVA 535 - this is the Tuesday "be there" event! Admission is $15.

Pro Tools Workshops at the Royal Theater

March 16 begins a series of recording arts workshops for selected students at the Royal Theater.  

This is a educational collaboration with EMIT, the Boys & Girls Club and the MIRA program at St. Petersburg College.  Pro Tools is the industry standard for professional recording. This program is supported by the Pinellas Community Foundation.
